Welcome back Dale, I like this at first glance, you think they are squares then you look again and realize they are chairs. Kowing myself I would have got fixed on the the one black chair with all the gold ones. you know like be unique, i'm different , or something corny... great capture. Rita

Great eye Dale, excellent image here..its a shoe in for an EP in EOD and probably more...i would only consider cloning over the brown chair on the top of edge with one of the gold ones or cropping to a longer horizontal rectangle...actually the longer I look at it the more potential crops I see, but yours is outstanding nonetheless..

A huge thanks to all my friends at Phellos for the kind comments. Luckily I have the original (I think) of this shot and there is room for many other crops, as some of you have mentioned.

This was taken at my Grandson's graduation from Oregon State college last week.

Thank you Aimee. As you can see from this other shot, there are lots of variations to this pattern that can be salvaged. I'll be trying them all.

So you compose shots like this after the fact? Thats a good idea....I always find composing in PS easier than in camera! :~)

In this case I did. My lens didn't allow me to get close enough at this location. Usually I compose when I'm shooting. However, I always leave a little extra in case I have to correct for tilt or whatever.
