Oh, you conjured up a forgotten memory - we had one of these in my childhood backyard also...besides being a hiding place for myself and my sister, it also became the hideout where our family cat had her kittens! Thanks for the memories, Melissa - great shot and fantastic effects!

Really lovely treatment here, Melissa. I have a big one of these in a very large container just outside the door here on the deck, and it's got so many buds this spring. Not quite ready to pop, but soon. :) Your story about the snowballs reminds me of a favorite haunt when I was a kid. My cousin and I used to sneak into the back yard of a neighbor, where there were grape vines. We'd lie there on our backs, plucking off succulent ripe grapes and popping them into our summer mouths--till we got caught, that is. :)
