Thanks Dale and Donna. I have her lit by 2 light sources, natural light from 2 (south) facing windows and the ambient light from the tv to light the front of her face. I have done some other BW's like this where I have used a reflector to open up the shadows on the silohuetted side a tad, and the room light on above her to light up her hair (she wasnt' wearing a hat in that one). It is a really simple but effective set up that anyone can do in their own home (preferably with a tripod if your film is meduim to slow).
