Hi Gregroy...I have been looking at this image for several days couldn't figure out what bothers me. It is the trees leaning in on the outside of the frame. they could be straightened using crop perspective. Other than that it is really a great shot as it draws my eye to the center background. Well done!!!

  Yeah, the converging verticals are a problem with the 35mm lens. I put up the shot because I really liked the tonal range when I pulled the print from the wash tray. I'll see about fixing the leaning trees and repost. Thanks for the thoughtful criticism

  I too really like the tonal range Greg, it's a very quiet kind of beauty, which is wonderful! I could see darkening the one bright tree trunk on the right side perhaps... great image :-)
