The Alabama Hills are at the base of Mt.Whitney on the eastern side of Sierra Nevada. Many western movies were filmed in these hills. There are numerous arches where one can frame the distant mountains. It is an amazing place.

Nikki McDonald's Gallery 		  Everything about this one is well done, Justin. Mt Whitney is crystal clear and sharp, the texture and light on the foreground arch is perfect, and I love the framing with that corner of sky left in to balance the composition. Excellent.
