Last to First: Hi Steve! I'm glad you liked this one. That large log was on the left edge of the right 1/3 grid line. Yet, I still felt it worked. Glad you felt it was okay, too. A dead tree isn't always a great leading line (HA!) but I felt the roots really reached out for the patch of snow. That's really neat that you noticed this! I thought only I had! I did saturate this image a bit. Do you think it was -too- much??? Thanks a lot for dropping in. Great to see you! -Laura

Laura, this image brings back memories for me. I camped on the edge of one of these pristine lakes in Banff in the 70s but not sure which one. One summer I rode on the back of a friend's 750 Honda from Creston to Banff and still remember the endless beauty of the area. I had just come back from backpacking in Europe to discover I had travelled half way around the world to find out I lived in one of the most beautiful places on earth. They don't call it "Beautiful British Columbia" for nothing.:) Alberta Rockies included, of course. LOL The color of the lake is exactly like your photos!!! Congratulations on capturing the beauty of Banff.
