Wow. I love this picture! If only I could learn how to take picture like this one. I have a passion for photography, but not the opportunity to explore it. I'm impressed.

  Vivian,
Thank you for your kind words! My Photographing Children course delves into how to make images like this one --with or without a studio or studio lighting. You might like to take a look at the course outline. Thanks again for your comments!

Shoting kids is harder that a lot of photographer imagine. Kids donĀ“t pay their attention too much time to uninteresting things such as photographers.
In this photo I liked too much the pose, but the kids looks too much posed, they are not 100% confortable. I bet they were much more confident and spontaneaus a few frames after this shot. I liked too much the dog looking directly to the camera and the neutral background, very unusual for kids portrait but very effective.

I think this photo is adorable. The boy is giving us his "camera" smile but it is still very cute. I think photographing children is not only easy but also a lot of fun! That's the way it should be. If they are having fun they are the best subjects in the world to photograph.

What a great photograph! I enjoy taking pictures of children myself in the studio setting and have sometimes found it very challenging. I have better luck in the out doors setting and letting do their "own thing." There are so many courses I want to take and this is definetly one on the top of my list!
