How did you get the a bright fish and adrk backround. No flash? was the tank water really clear?

Hi Ellen, This shot is actually taken 40 feet underwater using scuba equipment. The black background comes from using a flash against a background that is empty. and making sure not to aim the camera up towards the sun. Thanks! Emily
