So cute! I just love chickadees! How long did it take you to get him/her to come eat from your hand? I have heard they will but the ones here are always gone from the feeder in seconds. I just can't imagine ever getting any of mine to do this!

Wonderful! Well-deserved POTD and finalist! When I was a little girl in the 1950s my mother had me hold out my hand open with seeds in it and told me to be patient. We were in the back yard and eventually, sure enough, a chickadee landed on my hand and ate some seeds. This picture brought me instantly back to that happy moment. Thank you!
