Surreal Winter Morning
I am afraid this might be a big mistake but I am trying to take chances so here goes. This is an image from an sunrise on the mountains in British Columbia. The sun was trying to break through the clouds from the left side. The mountain was full of mist that was coming in and out. The sun created a strong highlight which I choose to not correct as I wanted to convey the impression of the light source. There is a mix of cool tones and a hint of pinks from the early morning light that was present. I realize this image will not work for most people but I am trying to create more of a painterly style to my images.

No mistake at all, Kevin....this is a very lovely capture....I know some people don't always appreciate the simplest captures and sometimes the "right place, right time" captures are pure magic.....this is one of those magical captures!
