Both are superb cameras, Rana. Assuming that you use a lens of identical quality on both cameras, both will produce superb image quality.

Try not to buy the cheapest lens available such as a $90 (28-80mm) zoom that comes in a kit with some cameras. Spend $250 for a better lens and you should be able to get razor sharp images.

Assuming you use the right techniques, such as a rigid tripod in low light. But if you shoot an ISO 400 film, that should not be necessary in most conditions.

Cheers! Peter Burian

I also have another suggestion for the lenses. I would reccomend not buying a zoom lens. Buy fixed lenses instead, and as a wise man once told me, "If you want to zoom in; walk forward, zoom out, walk backwards." The fixed lens will also give you a greater aperture range to work with, and I find this to be very helpful in many situations.

you want to buy a camera? why only two choices? the clue is, when you see the picture you have enough knowledge to make your camera take the picture! lenses, filters, film speed, lighting, your mind set. tripod ?portrait, landscape, action ?" the camera is as only as good as the person behind the viewfinder. settings ? manual , auto ?don't think the camera is taking the picture , you are .good luck !
