135-400 sigma How do you like the 135-400 sigma with your elan 7e. I have the same set up and am in the process of looking for 70-400 ish lens. I am looking at the tamron/canon 70-300s and the sigma 135-400. I want to stay under the 450 price tag

I recently purchased an Elan 7 as an upgrade to my old and tire Rebel. I have a couple of lenses I planned to continue to use with my new camera - a Sigma 70-210 (several years old) and a Sigma 170-500 (less than 3 years old. I've learned unfortunately, that Sigma technology doesn't keep up with Cannon technology improvements - They can be upgarded but it doesn't come cheap. The mismatch in technology creates a mirror lockout situation. While I love my Sigma lenses, I reccomend that you be careful. Good luck!
