B/W film Ilford I'm using 50mm B/W Ilford film. for the most contrast is it better to use faster shutter speeds or slower ones? Also what would be a good timed exposure be for indoors under low light on a white colored subject?

Sorry, I A typing error. It is not 50mm film it is 50 ASA film. Excccuuusssee me.
