i would like to know some advice, on what I should take, what can be left at home. and wether I need to use special film.

iam intresting in moving on to black and white but have never used it so iam not keen on it.

i love taking pictures, but this is my first serious attempt to make money from taking photos. if you got some adivce, please let us in on the trade secrets.

Hello, you can do a few things.

Walmart carries B&W film that can be developed in a color processing center. Or you can get professional film and rent time in a dark room.

I always take everything. If I leave soemthing behind I will need it. Murphy's law! I get my photos developed at york (mail-in). I have been with them forever and they do a really good job most of the time.

Have you veiwed the place you will be taking pictures? What is the lighting like?

Does the couple want to blow up the pictures?

Do you have an external flash?

What about filters?

Do they want out door photos?

I'm sorry for the tons of questions but the more info we know the better we can answer your questions.

backlighting with a white foam card board to bounce light back at the people always looks nice. Or in the shade with the foam board to bounce some light into the shade works well too.
A simple pose of his arms around her acting like he's whispering in her ear is a simple pose that works well for an engagement. Just about every wedding photog will do the same pose.
