How to shoot portrait with DOF My gear is Nikon F80, with AF 28-80 mm and 70-300 mm lenses. My main goal is to take better travel photos, and most important of all, to take good portrait photos for my girlfriend. But I never succeed in throwing the background blur when taking portrait pictures for her, using the aperture-priority or shutter-priority mode. The manual does not explain and guide me how to. Kindly please shed some light on this issue. Further, my camera does not seem to let me adjust and balance the exposure. Please advise. Many thanks!
