In short ... a photo lab. Better yet, a lab where you can have face-to-face contact with the lab tech. If you can get to know the tech, then you'll have a more personalized service. I live in rural Nevada - 4 hrs. north of Vegas, 4 hrs. west of Salt Lake City, and 5 hrs east of Reno. There's no place around here that can do E-6 processing, so I have to mail my film out. But I've gotten to know the lab tech's via email and telephone (Hollywood, CA). I do enough business with them that they've taken the time out to get to know me and what I expect of their service. In a nutshell, get to know a lab in your area (if there is one), so they'll give you a "personalized" service. It'll take some time, but it's worth it. I have no idea where you live so I can't make any recommendations.

I have been sending mine to York Photo. Have been happy with their work. 1.95 for prints, put em online for .99 and they sell both Kodak and their own brand film cheap too. Its a one week turn around to get your prints back but you get the online ones sooner. You can't begin to get into digital when you can get processing and service this cheap. You need to get online to sign up for mailers. www.yorkphoto.com or just do a google search for em. They have several labs across the US so there will be one not that far from you. Have fun.

You may think I am CrAzY, but Wal-Mart and Sam's Club has been great. It all depends on your area however - different people different results. However, I have gone to an expensive place and have had streaks and such. Never had any problem at Wal-Mart or Sam’s Club though, AND they have the best prices. They can also do a lot of other work that you may not be aware of.

Thank You,

I guess I have to anwser your question with a question.....What type of printing are you looking for? If you want plain consumer prints I guess any chain store would do...But if you want professional quality prints to sell to your customers you should consider a professional lab....Believe me there is a difference in QUALITY between the two...Every one seems to talk about price.....Well in my opinion the few pennys more you may pay at a pro lab as opposed to chain store processing is well worth it. People at pro labs do processing every day THATS ALL THEY DO and there good at it...People at chain stores process film and prints one minute and the next minute there
stocking shelves or counting food stamps
I've been down both the chain store and the prolab highways...At chain stores my prints came back unbelieveably bad, i've havd film processed thru contaminated chemistry because they told me SORRY they didn't the chemistry was bad...In 15 years i've been dealing with a pro lab not ONE roll of film has been damaged or contaminated and the color looks right on the way I expected it to be.....

Hope this helps......Gene
