Photo editing software

I have 1200 scanned slides in JPG averaging 350k to 600k. I want to do minor cleaning up (red-eye, dust) and then save them without any loss to their current size. Can't locate software that addresses this issue. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Photoshop. you can decide what size to save the files as. unless Im reading your question wrong, you just want to clean up the scans and save em again...right? Google has Picassa, its free and I have heard pretty good things about it. Photoshop CS/2 is the holy grail 600-700 bucks) of Image software but I hear great thing about PhotoShop elements3 too (50 bucks)Any way, hope this helps!

Try Fast Stone Image Viewer. It works great and is free on the net.
