Was anybody else intimidated before they joined.


I just found BetterPhote site. I immediately signed up. All my friends, house guests "wow" when they see my photo's. Along comes this site, which I love but the images are so good that I have to un-wow myself. Three visits and I am signed up for a class but a little nervous. Did any one else get "wow" back a level or two?

I too, am new here...(relatively...less than a year).
I was so impressed with the style and format of this site,...(not to mention the incredible talent that posts here),... that I immediately signed on and got my own web site.
It's a great place to share photographic experiences and exchange thoughts and ideas, as well as being a fun place just to ..."hang out".

Looking forward to seeing some of your work.

Diane Dupuis 		  Amazed yes, intimidated not really.
There is so much to learn by looking at other people's shots. Different angles, composition, lighting, subjects... It is a great place to learn more, even without signing up for a course. And a great place to have questions answered.
Don't be scared - Better Photo is a great website!

Kelly Abernathy's Gallery 		  Hi Daryl - Welcome! I was pretty intimidated when I first logged on as well. I've been here a couple of months now and love it. It's a great community and an invaluable learning resource - with or without the courses. I'm in my first course now and love it. But the Q&A, learning from other peoples photo posts, and conversations with the incredible talent here at this site have been SO helpful to me. I'm learning a lot here and think I've definitely improved because of it. I've got a long way to go, but this site makes the journey fun. It's a great place to hang out. Good luck! -K

Daryl: I'm laughing bcause you described me completely! It's a fantastic learning opportunity for certain and a test in being humble. I've been put back about three levels! It's great to have a community that understands why aomeone would shoot an entire roll of film of a leaf!
