Ricoh Kr-30 sp lens

I have just acquired a Ricoh Kr-30 sp and it has an Auto Chinon 50mm lens with it. I am unfamilar with this camera and am wanting to use the p and sp mode but am not able to with this lens. What lense would I look for that has the program mode on it? Thanks for you assistance. Wayne.
What an interesting site. Thanks.

http://www.butkus.org/chinon/ is a terrific site that has user manuals for many old SLR cameras, including your Ricoh KR-30sp.

The Ricoh piggy-backed Pentax's K-mount. While you can mount virtually any Pentax or other makers' K-mount lens, for shutter-priority program mode you need Ricoh R-K lenses (with "P" setting on the aperture ring) or Pentax or other makers' Ka lens with "A" setting on the aperture ring).

http://www.bdimitrov.de/kmp/ is a great resource for all things related to Pentax K-mount lenses and bodies.

Several mfr's used the pentax k mt because of it's durability, any should work in aperture priority AE, Only the Ricoh Rikenon P lenses or after market lenses like Sigma with the KAR mount.
Pentax A lenses will only work in aperture priority or manual. I shoot several Pentax and a Ricoh XRp, I buy
the KAR mount lenses because they work
with both
