I bought a used Nikkor 50 mm 1.2 from B&H recently, and was more than satisfied with the quality of the product and speed of service...(I think it took about 4 days to get delivered.)

KEH has their inventory easily available on the web, and their grading system may be the most generous in the industry. Their "Bargain" grade is other people's excellent. You have 13 days to send it back, no questions asked. I find them to be friendly and helpful. I have no experience with B&H, but I can tell you that some of the other NYC stores have been gruff, discourteous, and, in the case of one highly advertised store, very uncooperative in refunding for a defective piece.

Hi, I have bought from KEH 4 or 5 times now and only once had a problem, which I was able to return in exchange for something else. I have bought several lenses, a flash and some accessories for my Nikon through them and overall have been very satisfied. Prices there are a little higher there than some other places but if you are in it for a big ticket item, you will like having their inspection and return policy. Hope Shores

I stopped using B&H for all purposes after several instances of very poor service correcting their errors. I would be concerned if buying used equipment from them. KEH has a long and excellent reputation, although I've used them only once.

I use Bhphotovideo as my exclusive mailorder place of business! I have bought lenses and supplies for over two years without a problem!! If this is the same company that Randall S. is referring to,like I said,Ihave not had any problems. I won't do business with KEH because they only take credit card payments!!! Steve M.

I've bought 4 used minolta prime lenses from KEH over the past couple of months and have been extremly happy with the price and condition of the lenses. I have also bought other misc. stuff that was in great condition. I used the credit card to order some stuff over the phone with them. But, I've also emailed them to place an item on order and then had them hold it while I sent a money order. Always great service.
