Filter for Panning?


Hi!...im very new in digital photography and im only learning through reading and exploring this site. . .i like panning technique very much but I can do it only on night time. every time I try it under sunlight the image becomes very bright, im using sony f717. what do I have to do or buy to take panning shot under sunlight?

  set the film speed to the lower settings, set the aperture to the smallest if you can change it. Or set the shutter speed to a slow speed. That is if that camera has changeable settings.
If there are filters for that camera, a polarizer would probably be the easiest to find. Or a neutral density filter, which is made for cutting down the light without effect color. But a polarizer can be used the same way.
