Photography Question

Ellen A. Crownover

PAINT SHOP PRO ?

For those of you who have and do use Paint Shop Pro 7-8, how do you create a collage of 2 or more pictures? I want to frame 3 pictures horizontally with approximate 3/4" between them with some text on the matte? The text isnt important I can figure that out, but how do you do the collage?

New to Paintshop pro...thanks.

The best way to do this is to create a new image (File > New), choose a large resolution (eg, 10,000 x 4,000 if you are doing two images). Also, select the background colour you wish to use.

Once this image is created, open the first image you want to use and copy it to the clipboard (Edit > Copy). Close it and go back to your newly created blank image. Paste your photo onto the new image. (Edit > Paste > As New Selection, or "As New Layer" if you're comfortable with layers).
Open the next image you want to add and repeat the above steps.
Once you're done, add your text, then crop the image.
