How to shoot fast moving dance in dark place

I have tried n tried to take photos of my daughter dancing with 800 speed film and there are few pics that come out in the 24 pictures. There is little light most the time in these places also. What would you recommend ??

Assuming you can't use flash, you might try 'pushing' your film. For example, when using your 800 speed film, manually set the film speed in the camera to 1600 or 3200, and take your pictures. The camera will 'think' you are using faster film than you actually are. When you bring you film in to your photo store for processing, you need to tell them that you 'pushed' the film to 3200. They will develop it accordingly. Keep in mind that they will probably need to send the film out for processing.
Also, your resulting pictures will be much grainier than normal. Give it a try!

What kind of lens are you using f-stop wise? And how are your pictures looking when you get them?
If you're just using auto exposure and this is a stage with spotlights, you might be able to improve the pictures if you try and expose correctly for the light, and not the whole area the camera sees.

Consider using Tmax3200 pushed to 6400. Back in the days when sports photographers used film, they would shoot at ISO25000. That's right, ISO twenty five thousand!!
How is that possible?
1. push Tmax3200 to ISO6400 on your film dial.
2. Shoot on aperture priority and set your exposure compensation dial to +2. That's it.
ISO6400 at +1 is ISO12800 and
ISO12800 at +1 is ISO25600.
But, unless it's almost pitch black, pushing Tmax3200 to 6400 and shooting at f/2.8 or f/3.5 (depending) should serve you well.

Pushing your film isn't going to get you the results you want. You need to do a couple of things.....1) you need a flash/camera that allows you to do rear curtain sync. 2) you need a flash with a guide # of around 130 and/OR 3) you need to get closer. Finally you need a fast auto focus or a camera with auto focus tracking.

How about just having your kid pretend she is dancing for you?
