Sigma SA7 good camera? I just bought a Sigma SA7 camera kit witht he two lens. I do not know if this is a good camera...I am just starting this as a hobby. Please let me know, I have thirty days to return and purchase a good camera. Did I just get a good sales pitch? I will pay up to $500 for a camera/lens...what is the best camera...please help !! Thanks for all the advice...*S*

Well, I just bought the exact same setup for my 17 year old daughter. Seems like a good deal on a very nice featured camera. Pop Photo also listed the kit as a good deal a couple of issues a go.

One note of concern is Sigma's support. My daughter put a finger throgh the shutter the first time she loaded film in it (she should have listened to me better). Anyway, we sent it back to Sigma for repair and while I did not expect it to be a warrantied claim we where hoping for a realistic repair cost. Instead they quoted a repair price $150 or $175 for a new camera. Sucks to be my daughter because she had to pay.
