Photography Question

Jeff

What kind of Camera do you recomend?

I have done Photography classes all through my secondary school education and we used PENTAX K1000 35MM SLR camera's which was provided.

Now I am finished school I am interested in buying a camera like that or simular I still probablly classify as a beginer but I know how to use that camera and I want to experiment with different lenses, techniques, filters and so on which I could do with the camera at school.

So I was wondering if PENTAX K1000 35MM SLR camera's where widely available and also are there any other camera's simular to this one that u would recomend??

Thanks

A used Pentax K-1000 can be found on e-bay. They generally sell for @ $75 to $125, and often come with one or more lenses as part of a package.

You should also look into some of the older Nikon manual cameras (FM, FM2, FE). These, like the Pentax K-1000, were built to last. The Nikon system has a wider variety of compatible lenses and accessories.
