AE1 Lens and filters Is it possible to use AE1 Program filters and lens on the Canon Rebel?

Generally, Canon FD lenses cannot be used on EOS cameras, which include the Rebels. Internet hucksters advertize a makeshift adapter with a glass element of unknown quality, but you'd be taking a chance. Canon supposedly made one with a decent glass element, but it is extremely rare and expensive. Canon also made adapters especially for long teles and macros, but they do not allow infinity focus. They are rare and expensive, also. If you have a sizable investment in the excellent Canon FD lenses, buy an F-1 or a T90 to continue using them with a pro-level SLR. There is a glut of Canon FD lenses on auction sites these days, so unless you have a rare one or two, they're worth more to you as useful photo making tools.
