Look for a sturdy Ball Head I have a Gitzo G1276 Ball Head, however now that I'm doing more maco photography, I have added a Lepp Flash Bracket which allows me to use two flash units pointed at my subject. The bracket attaches to my tripod, and with the added weight of the bracket, two flashes and camera, I find that my current head "travels" a bit. I would like to be able to lock the head, and not have it move at all. The question is this, "Can anyone reccomend a sturdier Ball Head than the one I am now using? Thanks,

Bogen makes them. I think you can get bigger ones made to hold more weight. Whether they are better than gitzo, I couldn't tell you.
