What type of camera should I buy? I am looking to buy my first SLR camera. I am looking into buying a Nikon but wasn't sure which one to buy. I would mostly be taking pictures of people, nature and sporting events. Could you recommend a camera for me. Thank You.

A fine choice, Sarah!!! Try the following entry-level cameras from NIKON--- for Auto-focus there's the Nikon N55, N65 and the N75---visit www.photographic.com or www.nikonusa.com for specifications of them. For manual, An FM3A is quite expensive yet it has wonderful features....Also, the Nikon FM2N is still considered indestructible ( it was brought in snowstorm travel by some professionals and survived the extreme temp.! ) Anyway, enjoy and be sure to also be well-oriented with the flash units and other accessories available from NIKON! Enjoy!
