Photography Question

Software suggestions

I am looking for an easy to use image editing program. Photoshop is a little too pricey for me. I have PaintShop Pro 7 but do not have the time to use it enough to become proficient with it. What I want is something that is a little more intuitive and automatic than PSP 7. It takes a long time just to learn what their terminology means.

Thanks,
Gary

There's Micrographix or Photoshop LE 5.0 which I just purchased as a gift at a computer show for $24.00 (New in package with Product Registration Key) - and don't forget to check Ebay...

Adobe Elements 2 is Photoshop based. Buy and register it and save the paperwork. Later, Adobe MAY give you an attractive deal on full Photoshop, as they did me when I bought Photoshop LE.
The learning curve for photo imaging looks formidable, but learning it is worth the effort. Get a book for Elements and take it a chapter at a time.

The other thing you'll find out, is that you will use a handfull of the options/tools available as a 'base' and can add to that as you go along.
