Why do I keep getting magenta in night shot with


 
 
I bought a D60 about 7 months ago and I have always got magenta in my night shots (location) and as for day shots if my subjects are good then the sky is not present and vice versa, I have read the manual from front to cover many times am I missing something or is it the Camera.
I was getting better pictures with my Nikon 995.
anyone have any Ideas.
