Adjusting Aperture on camera I'm trying to learn about my camera - Maxxum 7 - by adjusting the aperture and playing with the shutter speed. I just don't know what to set the aperture on when shooting a picture. I have a 28mm 1.8 and a 135-400mm lens that I would like to use on vacation next week but I'm afraid I'll mess all the pictures up if I manually set my camera vs. just putting it in auto. Any help or advise would be appreciated. Thank you

Susan: You may want to consider doing what works for you during your vacation and work on learning aperture and shutterspeed, exposure, and manual camera use when you get home, when images are more expendible (and repeatable).
