best quality prints

i am trying to find out what is the way to have my b&w negatives to be printed out. these are professionally taken wedding (mine) photos, which were taken in france. now I have the negatives with contacts, but I would like to have the best quality developing in order to be able to put together a professional album. I tried having a few of the pictures printed out, but the paper seemed quite thin, thinner than the professional quality paper I bought for my inkjet printer at home. can someone please help! thanks!

Have you thought about scanning them yourself and printing them on your ink jet printer on the paper of your choice? Actually, you can have them scanned professionally, if you don't have the hardware, and print the images on your ink jet.
