What is best digital camera for Genealogy use? I'm looking to purchase a digital camera, under $300 to obtain images of microfilmed documents and be used by a teen taking your photography course. These are the features that I must have: 3x optical zoom, LCD screen, viewfinder, good glass multi-element lens, user-selected scenes or manual controls, abililty to change resolution/quality, macro to copy slides, zoom on playback greater than 6x, shutter timer, AA batteries, flash. What are your top 3 recommendations?
