how can get those classic 40's headshot look? You guys have seen those beautiful soft Black and white shots from the 40's and 50's. I want to get that in my home studio. I just bought JTL's backdrop holder and high key white paper,JTL 40w slave,JTL versalight J110(main flash),and various umbrellas. I have a canon ae-1 and a Minolta Maxxum 5. Im only a student,but I think I got some good stuff. My clientle is mainly women and they all want those B+W shots.I love those racey shots from mens magazines like FHM and Maxim. MY question is What film and settings do I do to make this all work? OK pros... let me know.
