Shooting wooden gunstock banks without glare. The major problem that we have encountered is being able to shoot pictures that do not have the flash of light on them when taken in our home, or the problem of all-over glare while shooting outside. We find that when the photos are shot at a certain time of day when it is cloudy outside (and the moon is in the right phase)we will get good, usable photos. Until we can get some help with this the business that developes our photos will be getting rich.

You need to shoot under diffuse light. There are several ways to do this. Either shoot on cloudy days; shoot under open shade ( on a porch or on the shady side of your house) or build a diffusing box. You can simply hang clear plastic around the area you are shooting to soften the direct sunlight. If it s a very sunny area layer the plastic. Lewis Kemper
