trying to print some pictures

hello, please help. My husband brought me a fujifilm finepix 1300 last January and I havent printed a picture yet. I have successfully put the pics on the pc in Exifviewer. I decided I would give up trying to print my own as I heard the local camera shop would be able to print my pics for me. Anyway I was told I needed to clear the Smartmedia card of all frames then go into Exifviewer right click the mouse button and then save the image back to the cleared smartmedia. So far I havent been able to save one. I dont have a CD re-writer on my pc just two ports - one for a CD and one for a floppy disc. I dont want to bother trying to print them myself again as I already wasted loads of print ribbon and photo quality paper. However, I am most frustrated now that I dont seem to be able to even take them off the pc and save on the Smartmedia card. If I can do this I can then tell the shop these are the ones I want to print.
Regards Karen

I can't help you with your software or smartmedia problem, but I can give you an alternative. Since you already have your pictures loaded onto your computer, why not use an online photo printing service? I highly recommend Walmart.com Just click on the photocenter tab and upload your pictures to their server and request prints in various sizes. I've been using this service for about a month now. The service is low-cost, but extremely high quality. What's more is that you can order your prints online and have them delivered to your nearest Walmart for pickup without paying any shipping fees.
