Anyone know how to shoot indoor ice hockey group pictures?

Hi Bud,

I can offer you my experiance. Most arena have poor lighting for us novices. Most won't allow flashe either.

I use a Digital Rebel with a 75-300 zoom. It's kinda slow, but I've been able to get decent shots by setting the camera as follows.

Tv 1/250
Av 4.5-8.0
ISO 800.

Be sure to use a tripod or monopod (if you're tracking the play).

Some of my shot are posted. See if these are acceptable to you.

BTW, I have purchased a faster lens (f2.8 constant) to help in low light situations. Once I get it dialed in, I hope to have better results)
