How to make prints from paintings I was asked to do prints of my friends paintings. I don't know if it is done with film or if there is another way that prints are made from paintings. Can you give me any insight on this procedure?

hi Keith my mother is a painter and I have had to do this many times for her. the best way to go is to take slide film...E-6...the colr is more vibrant and clear,and further more, most of the people that are accepting photos of paintings prefer slides. sometimes If you get your C-41 ( COLOR FILM )processed at a regular or even professional photo shop, I t is more than likely that it will not turn out like the original picture. At least with slide film (E-6) what you se is what you get.
