What flash will work with the Fuji FinePix S602?
I want to buy an external shoe mounted flash for the Fuji FinePix S602, but I am not sure which one will work with this camera. Do you know which one will work? Any help you can give to me would be greatly appreciated.

You can use almost any flash with that camera in either manual mode or if the flash has an auto mode. You can not use any TTL mode unless (if I remember correctly) you use 1 model of flash from Fuji. A very popular model is the Vivitar 283. I even used my old Canon 199A which is funny because I could not use it on my Canon 10D but I could on the Fuji S602. Oh well!. The only thing is to verify that the trigger voltage is 6volts or less. You can check the voltage specs on a lot of flashes here: http://www.botzilla.com/photo/strobeVolts.html I suggest you go to this site as an excellent resource for Fuji S602 information. It is kept up by some great Fuji Lovers and contributions by a lot of people (including myself). http://www.marius.org/fuji602faq.php Michael Kaplan Montreal, Canada Canon EOS-10D http://www.pbase.com/mkaplan
