N6006 Owner's Manual

A friend asked me how he could get an owner's manual for his Nikon N6006. I found the Manuals2go site for him. Can anybody recommend other such sites?

  Maynard,
Another major sources for manuals if you're willing to wait for shipping:

Obviously, there's KEH Camera Brokers also, but you will pay their minimum shipping cost. It's better to bundle it with an equipment purchase to spread shipping costs over more stuff. IIRC, KEH does discount the manual if you buy it when you buy the piece of equipment.

Thanks very much. I'll pass it along and let him choose...

  Maynard,
There's always the obvious . . . so obvious we don't even think about it.

Call Nikon USA and ask them for a manual. Their parts and/or service departments usually have an archive of manuals, or at least reproductions of the manuals.

OTOH, some of the camera equipment manufacturers are not that prompt with shipping things and one can wait weeks for it. I don't know how promptly Nikon ships stuff like this, so it's worth asking how long it will take if he calls them.

  Dear John:
I considered contacting Nikon as the final option. Perhaps they have remedied the problem, but in the past they seemed to have remarkably limited inventory in the U.S.A., coupled with sometimes astounding delays. It sent a very clear message...
