filters, shutter speed what type if any filter should I use to shoot pictures outside of baseball players? I get great shots of kids catching the ball, and hitting the ball but the ball always blurs, any suggestions?

The only way to freeze the ball is to use a higher shutter speed. Personally I prefer pictures with the baseball a little streaked rather than frozen in midair.
