Dear Rahul: I'm guessing you bought this camera used. 1) I'm also 99.9% certain the camera takes K-mount lenses, like Pentax, Ricoh, Sears, Vivitar and several other brands of cameras. Lenses will be easy to find. 2) I very much doubt the camera has been modified to take Nikon mount lenses, though oddly enough, Cosina did have a hand in manufacturing at least one Nikon SLR. 3) Some ways to shoot close-up photos: a)Close-up diopters. Like filters, they attach to the front of your lens. b) Extension tubes or bellows. They fit in between the lens and camera body. c) Macro lens. You might see what Vivitar has these days in a K-mount macro lens. They even had a 2X teleconverter with a focus ring which, when you turned it, converted the lens mounted on the front into a macro focus-capable lens. I once owned this odd bird, and it worked remarkably well. d) Reverse mounting ring. A hard to find item nowadays. You'd attach the ring to the camera body, put on a lens, backwards, and voila! close focus capability. Landscapes, hills, etc. might be shot with wideangle, normal or telephoto lenses. You might try the 35-70 zoom awhile, and borrow/rent a 70-210 telephoto before owning one, to see if you find it useful enough. Consider reading up on the topics of landscape and close-up photography to become familiar with the equipment and, perhaps more importantly, the techniques photographers use. The camera body and 35-70 zoom are a good foundation. Filters may be an area to research, since many images are improved by the informed use of a filter.

Hi Paul; On your lens mount question, your camera will accept Pentax K mount lenses. It has the PK-A mount, which is the same as the Ricoh R-PK mount. The question of pricing is many faceted. This will depend on type of lens (ie zoom, prime, telephoto, fast or slow, wide angle). It will also depend on whether the lens is new or used. Another thing that will affect the price is the market for that type of lens in your area. I know that a company called Promaster still makes lenses for your camera. I don't know where you are in India, so I can't research camera shops in your area. Your line of questions is very vague, so you must accept my appology for not being much help. Have fun and keep shooting,
