Hotel lobby shoot with available light

I'm an amature but rated as a good creative photographer within my community. I'm using a Nikon F5, Metz CT 64-4, Metz MZ 40 MZ-2, Nikon 80DX, for my shooting. Recently I got an assignement to shoot a hotel their lobby, rooms, wedding/buffet hall, reception and some outdoor shots for a brochure. I thought it will be more dramatic if I use available light for all shots. Please advise me what film type is good (brand and type of film) and should I by some strobe lights (can afford to spend $2,000/ max). Also advise if slide is better or colour negative (scan and retouch in Adobe Photoshop 7) will give proffession finish for printing the brochure.
