Vivitar Nikon AI lens on Nikkormat Does anybody know if the current Vivitar AI manual focus Nikon lenses (yes I'm a cheap amateur) have the Meter fork required by old style Nikkormat / Nikomats? Specifically, I was looking at the 28-210mm model 216555.

Dear Joey: Try www.vivitar.com You can email them while you're at the site and ask that question. Funny thing is, they have a photo of the 28-210 at the site, and it almost looks like it has to be the version with a Nikon mount, because I'll almost swear that's an AI fork visible at the back end of the lens...

Hey thanks for the response. I did e-mail them, but you're right. I looked at the pic and can see the mounting fork. I don't know how I missed that before.
