Photography Question

Michael Boylan

Protecting your camera from the elements.

I'm going to permanently be moving to Cabos San lucas,Mexico in July and will be Photo documenting all of Baja Sur and the los cabo cape. I'll be shooting with a olympus OM system. My concern is that the elements such as saltwater, sand and high winds can be very damaging to your camera. Since I'll be out and about for long period at time, it was recommented that I should use a Directors viewfinder to shout out the areas that I want to shoot and write it down then go back in one clean sweep and shoot. This will minimize the camera of being exposed to the elements. The viewfinder would be a 35mm format with 20-200 focal. Any recommendation from the pro's ?
