Preparing for beach Being from Indiana we just don't see a lot of sand or salt air around here. I have a Nikon D100 and a few memory cards. We are going to Daytona Beach for spring break, and I really want a shot of my 16 year old daughter on the beach a sunset in a white dress, hopefully with the wind blowing through her hair. My question is do I need to take any precautions with my camera on the beach? How about memory cards and plane trips? I have heard that the X-ray machines mess up film, but not much on digital media. I have also heard that salt air can mess up video camera's, but nothing about digital SLR. Also any help in getting this shoot would be apprieciated. Thanks in advance.
