scanning photos into computer I have a lexmark scanner, printer, copier. When I scanned a photo onto your website with it.... it turned out miserably. Do I need to buy a photo scanner or change the settings (resolution,etc) on my lexmark? I ama total novice... please help!

Did you tell the scanner to scan and convert the picture to a web-ready image? Maybe the Lexmark's automated way of doing that isn't so great. Did your scanner come with an imaging software such as Elements, Photodeluxe Business Edition or Photodeluxe? One of these programs can do a better job of converting the scanned image to the standard web format, called JPEG. Tell us what you're working with so we can help you further.
