lens adapter to allow slr to digital interface

Have a Canon G3, want to be able to find a lens adapter to allow the use of Sigma lenses(Zoom & Wideangle)using canon slr adapter rings. Can anyone put me onto such an adapter or even an engineering shop that could allow me to alter Canon' own g3 adapter to take the sigma/canon slr adapters

I'm not telling folks any more for sure that something doesn't exist, but I have some doubts on this one. Canon (or Sigma) may make some add-on lenses that will extend the capability of the zoom on your G3 to go wider or more telephoto.
I serious doubt that anyone can do the engineering to fit 35-mm Sigma lenses on a digital camera that already has a fixed zoom lens. If the option even exists, I'd think it'd be some Rube Goldberg set-up, more image quality loss than the thing would be worth.

If you already have an investment in Canon EOS or Sigma lenses, consider a Canon D60 or other Canon digital SLR, as a way to have your digtal cake and eat it, too.
