Pregnancy Pictures

Sir
My wife and I recently learned that we are going to have a baby in about 8 months. Now, my wife wants me to take pictures of her at various stages of her pregnancy with B & W film. I own an Canon EOS Elan 7E with 28-80mm zoom and a manual focus pentax p30t with various lenses and flash units. I want to take the pictures in our apartment living room where we have a fairly large bay window with lots of daylight coming in. Can you give me some tips on lighting arrangements, film choices etc.

Thanks

Other contributors here can tell you more about flash and lighting, but I'd use that window light, with maybe a reflector to bounce some of that light back into the shadows. An old slide projector screen makes a great relector, but a 4-foot sheet of foam-core board from an art store would do fine, too. Just set it on a chair or prop it up just out of the picture.
