Colors Showing up on Shiny Metal Sorry for posting this for the third time, but for some reason my other two posts did not show up. I have a Nikon Coolpix 2500 and when taking a picture of a building that had a metal smoke stack, the stack shows "color bands" in it, I have seen this problem on cheap digital cameras like the ones that use a CMOS, but should this show on a camera as good as this Nikon 2500? I will not try to send the photo again, seems like it will not post when I send the photo, even though it said posting sucessful. I can't find my other postings anywhere on this web site. I hope this one shows up. :)
